How did Dr. Teo Yen Koon get the President’s Volunteer Service Award?

Dr. Teo Yen Koon is a Singaporean Entrepreneur. He is also an Investor and Humanitarian. He was born on May 1978 in Singapore. Initially, he was an air force officer and later, he became an entrepreneur. Within a few years, his company was expanded to Southeast Asia and Greater China. He always wanted to give back to society, so sold his established business and returned to Singapore. There he set up a consultancy company and shared his past experience with young entrepreneurs. In December 2014, he founded a mobile game publishing and mobile advertising company GTOKEN with the partners of same mindset. This company has rapidly grown throughout Asia.

He also promised to offer annual contributions to many charitable organizations in Cambodia and Nepal.  He works for others selflessly and actively participated in both local and abroad charity works. Also, donated columbarium to people who cannot afford it.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award was received by desmond teo yen koon and is duly signed by President Barack Obama, in April 2016. It is a civil award and is also referred to the US President Lifetime Achievement Award. The International American University, Los Angeles offered him the honorary Doctor of Business Administration award. He has also received an award from the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, for his outstanding charitable activities all over the world. He has dedicated himself to make a difference for the needy in Singapore and beyond.
